There were issues with the layout of this home gym for my personal trainer client; including where equipment went and how the flooring would work as it involved a transition between two flooring types.  After speaking to the client and discussing how the gym would be used we agreed the best plan and layout to fit within her budget.

There were several options for a utility room including where the door went, how the cupboards were positioned etc.  I worked with the client to work out the optimum way to access the room considering the flow around the house and ensuring maximum storage possibilites in this small area.

These clients are enthusiastic chefs.  After looking at how their existing kitchen is used, and what they want from their new kitchen we realised there were a number of problematic issues with the new kitchen design that would mean cluttered worksurfaces and the need for extension cables.  We resolved these issues without compromising the design of the kitchen.  I was able to recommend products to enhance the design and functionality.  They now have a kitchen that not only looks beautiful, but works for them on a practical level.   

I helped this client work out pendant and spot lighting positions in her long kitchen extension.  I advised on how the lighting should be grouped on circuits and where switches would be best positioned.  The lighting had to take into account everyday use with the dining table in one position and occasions when the room would be used for larger parties.
